Forest vegetation is important to the runoff regulation and rainfall redistribution.After the rain the atmosphere enter the forest,canopy interception,through-fall and stem-flow water,constitutes a new distribution pattern.In this study,from the forest structure and hydrological process of starting ,Comparison of the two communities in the redistribution of rainfall and the role of nutrient cycling between castanopsis fargesii forest and masson pine forest in hydrological characteristics by the observation,To better understand the ecology of two communities to provide the scientific basis for hydrological functions.The main findings are as follows:1.Community survey showed that masson pine forest is single peak decline type.the age of Castanopsis fargesii community larger than masson pine community,Canopy of the level of community are more than massoniana Community,low-density communities,Show that the community structure of tree is better than Castanopsis massoniana community and more mature and stable community development.2.Castanopsis fargesii community water-holding capacity stonger than massoniana Community.Castanopsis fargesii massoniana communities and communities of litter water-holding capacity or less the same,but Canopy biomass of the larger difference,so the largest Canopy water-holding capacity determines the community's largest water-holding capacity.Canopy tree the largest Canopy water-holding capacity of Castanopsis fargesii community is larger than masson pine community.3.Castanopsis communities undergrowth penetrating changes by time,the same as masson pine community.Castanopsis fargesii community penetration rate of rainfall and through-fall were lower than massoniana Community.The two communities rainfall penetration(rate) there are significant differences.Penetration rate of rainfall and through-fall were enfected by the characteristics of forest and the characteristics of rainfall.4.Castanopsis fargesii stem-flow community trends over time is identical to masson pine community.The runoff(rate) of stem-flow of Castanopsis communities is higher than the massoniana Community. Plant communities in two of trees and rainfall runoff were significantly related.The chemical characteristics of Rain forest communities in forest is related as the chemical characteristics of atmosphere rainfall.The trends of pH,conductivity values,NO3-content,SO42-content of through-fall and stem-flow in the two communities are the same as precipitation.Tiantong areas affected by acid deposition is not serious.
