In this paper, the collision problems and risk analysis between chemical tankers and bridges in the bridge areas are studied. A number of areas are involved in the problem of collision, which is also a typical cross-disciplinary subject. There are increasing numbers of ship collision accidents with bridges in our country. Together with the development of the large-span bridges and the increasing potential risks of ship collide with the bridges, and also in the condition of a large number of dangerous goods transport operations, the high density of shipping traffic of ships, and the complex conditions of navigation in the Yangtze River, it is necessary to initiate a special study of the risk analysis and emergency management research for the special water transportation environment of bridge area.First, the methods of risk identification and risk analysis are introduced, based on the comparison of a variety of methods, the method of fuzzy comprehensive assessment is selected for the main method of the risk analysis between chemical tankers and bridges. Taking the forth Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge for example, the risk assessment of which is finished by using fuzzy comprehensive assessment, and the factors which are caused by the collisions are identified and analyzed. The risk probability of the collisions between the chemical tankers and the bridges was put forward by investigating the statistics of typical bridge Accidents, combining with other relevant results. Finally, for a variety of toxic chemicals, the emergency monitoring methods and controlling measures was initiated to control the emergency pollution, and considering the collision risk factors between the chemical tankers and the bridges, the risk control policy and measures is targeted.It is the first time that the main risks of collision between the chemical tankers and bridges in the bridge areas together with the factors and factor proportions of ship-bridge collision are studied. The risk assessment of the risks of collision between chemical tankers and the bridges in the waters of bridge areas is finished by using the fuzzy comprehensive assessment method. And the risk control measures and methods are recommended.
