Fluorgypsum is the by-product of hydrofluoric acid production process which is the residue output of sulfuric acid reaction with the fluorite and the major components of residue are Calcium.Large quantities of fluorgypsum is made in inorganic and organic fluoride manufacturing plant and other hydrofluoric acid factories.To produce 1 ton hydrofluoric acid,about more than 3.6 ton fluorgypsum will be yielded. At present,the domestic annual output exceeds 100 million tons.Fluorgypsum emitted at the beginning is difficult to dissolve in water and its hydration rate is slow, so it can not be directly used for cementitious materials.In the past,the utilization of fluorgypsum is mainly as cement retarder and also used as plaster powder,but the utilization is limited.A large number of fluorgypsum is still to be dealed with to place in the yard that is not only a waste of a large number of human and material resources, but also a big pollution to the environment.Comprehensive utilization of the chemical by-product gypsum is good for protecting the environment and saving energy and resources which is in line with China's sustainable development strategy. Therefore,handling and utilizing fluorgypsum is very important.Based on the research of excitation principle about fluorgypsum hydrous activiy,the experiment focuses on the utilizations of fluorgypsum about insulation materials in the construction and masonry materials,opens up new ways of using fluorgypsum which has good social and economic benefits.The paper selects the fluorgypsum of a factory in Shandong.By aging deals with raw materials and Grinding processing,adding quicklime,modifier GJ,activating agent JF and other additives to enhance the activity of fluorgypsum and accelerate the rate of fluorgypsum hydration,the experiment Obtains excellent performance fluorgypsum cementitious materials.Then the research goes on exploring the new type of fluorgypsum cementitious materials's applications in insulation material,masonry cement and adhesive plaster three aspects.The main contents and results of research are as follows:First,Initially it is investigated that the modification of quicklime,semi-water gypsum and modifier GJ to the masonry cement,and on this basis to study the impact of activating agent.Then the paper texts a series of performances of masonry cement, for instance the strength,stability,standard consistency water consumption,water rate,setting time,expansion and freezing.Results show that the cementing material made of the formulation conforms national standards.The product has high strength, good performance of hardening in water and can be used largely in the structure of industry and civil construction projects.Second,using fluorgypsum and glazed hollow bead as the main materials,with a small amount of cement and other admixtures,to prepare a new type insulation mortar and analyze its composition,performance and morphology.The thermal insulating mortar have many advantages,such as light,low heat conductivity factor, heat insulation,fireproofing and steady performance.It is a kind of green environment-friendly high-performance thermal insulation materials.Third,by means of researching the impact of various additives on the performance of flourgypsum binder,mainly studying the impact of binder's type and content,to determine a best formula.By optimizing the ratio,under the help of SEM scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis,the paper measures flourgypsum binder's hydration property,intensity,setting time and so on.Through the experimental data get a better ratio of flourgypsum binder.The product has many advantages,such as simple production process,low cost,Convenient preservation, and it is an ideal decoration construction adhesive.
