The Research Of The Elder Bedroom Furniture

China has already been an aging nation, we focus on the elder, especially the elder furniture. I do research in the relation between the elder size and furniture in the thesis. We probe in the elder furniture function and sense of style derected towards their body feature, physiological drive and behavior pattern for living, to analyze the influnce of furniture size which the human body make, the influnce of furniture sculpt which spiritual demand make. We raise a concept which fit the the need of the elder furniture function and sulpt. The innovative design of the elder furniture can draw on the experience of this thesis.We've measured the Harbin elder body dimension and got the standard deviation and coefficient of variation of the elde(60-69,70-79)which is stable, but the standard deviation and coefficient of variation of the elde(80-)is bigger. So the body dimension of the elder(60-69 and 70-79) change a little, conversely body dimension of the elder(80-) change much. I use survey method, videography and force cell to get subjuective and objective data. From this data I get the result that when the bed armrest height is 6200mm and the upper limb(s) inc shoulder girdle angle is 45°it can supply the elder's demand.We do research in rest function and study function then analyze the relation between body dimension and the bed when people is in sprawl, get the result of the bed function suitable for the northern elder and the size of chair and table when the elder is studying.We do research in bedroom furniture sculpt size and art, analyze the furniture shape scale, shape decoration, furniture technique of expression and the decoration connotaion of bedroom furniture, then get the result of the relation between bedroom decoration and furniture size, the size change of the bedroom furniture decoration., bedroom furniture shape discipline and the moral of furniture decoration pattern.
