Study On Evaluations And Optimizing Way Of The Suitability Of Human Settlements In Dongting Lake Region

Human settlements has been concerned and studied more and more by the scholars at home and abroad,as the same time has been a hot issue of daily life since human settlement has been found by C.A.Doxiadis.It is very important to concern and develop human settlements because of the losing of natural resources,the destruction of ecology system,the contaminating of environment,the increasing of population,the aggravating of infrastructure and the decline of people's settle condition which caused by the disorders of the relation of human and nature.On the basis of the theories and evaluating methods of human settlements,combining the condition of human settlements development of Dongting Lake Region,taking Yueyang as an example,according to the principle of study of human settlements,selecting the indexes system which can represent the development trend of human settlements of Yueyang,using analytic hierarchy process and analytic principal components process to analyze the natural environment,ecology condition and society-economy system of human settlements of Yueyang, comparing the character of the human settlements elements of Yueyang region by the calculation,conclude as:â… .During 1998 to 2002,the human settlements of Yueyang increased stably.During 2002 to 2005,the human settlements of Yueyang developed slowly.During 2005 to 2007,the human settlements of Yueyang developed rapidly.â…¡.Society-economy system is the leading factor of the human settlements development of Yueyang,while ecology condition is not the leading factor though it developed rapidly,and the natural environment has been the bottleneck of the human settlements development of Yueyang.â…¢.The human settlements development of Yueyang was sustainable last two years though ecology condition and infrastructure fluctuated during the course of the human settlements development of Yueyang.Finally,the measures for the human settlements development of Yueyang were presented for reference of human settlements development of Dongting Lake Region on the basis of the character of the human settlements development of Yueyang.
