The Jatropha curcas L. is one of the best materials to produce biodiesel. The seeds of Jatropha curcas L. contain 35 %-40 % oil, the kemals contain more than 50 %-60 % oil, of which rich in oleic acid and linolic acid(more than 70 %. The Jatropha curcas L. seed meal is by-product of biodiesel. However, because of the toxicity, the Jatropha curcas L. seed meal don't be utilized fully, restrict the development of the Jatropha curcas L.. This paper studied the detoxification of Jatropha curcas seed meal, the main results were as follows:1,The ester–soluble toxin from Jatropha curcas L. seed meal was isolated by diffusion with alcohol-acetic ether. The most optimum isolate conditions were obtained by the single factor and L9(34)orthogonal experiment. The best results were as follows: the soaking time 2h,round particle size 80 meshes,the extraction concentration85 %,ratio of solid to liquid 1:10,soaking temperature 50℃.The ester–soluble toxin isolated at the optimal condition is 97.54 %.2,The protein from Jatropha curcas L. seed meal was isolated by extraction with solvent. The most optimum extraction conditions of protein from Jatropha curcas seed meal were obtained by the single factor and L9(34)orthogonal experiment. The best results were as follows:0.005mol/LPBS contains 1.00mol/L NaCl,round particle size 80 meshes,the soaking time 90min,ratio of solid to liquid 1:12,soaking temperature 65℃.The extraction rate of protein at the optimal condition is 98.11 %.3,The toxic protein curcin from Jatropha curcas L. seed meal was isolated by ultra filtration technique in this paper. The most optimum isolate conditions were obtained by the single factor and L9(34)orthogonal experiment. The best results were as follows: time 60min, temperature 45℃, pressure 0.14 MPa, the concentrations of ultra filtration liquid 3.235 mg/ml.The toxic protein isolated at the optimal condition is 97.62 %.4,After detoxification, the contents of crude protain,crude fiber and crude fat in the Jatropha curcas L. seed meal were 31.73 %,6.69 % and 5.2 % respectively. The total content of amino acid was 14.1 %, of which 8 kinds were essential amino acids,four kinds were nonessential amino acids complete and balance, The meal was rich in minerals, especially K,Na,Mg, and the heavy metal Pb was not detected.
