Fluorosurfactant is the most important kind of the special surfactants, which plays an irreplaceable role that carbon hydrogen surfactants can't, so it has a very extensive use. In this paper, Polyglycerol ester of perfluorocaprylic acid was synthesized from glycerol and perfluorocaprylic acid through polymerization and esterification reaction. The temperatures were also studied.First, the polyglycerol ester was synthesized from glycerin in present of sodium hydroxide as the catalyst, and obtained various different average degree of polymerization products. Then, polyglycerol ester of perfluorocaprylic acid were synthesized through esterification reaction from the polyglycerol ester and perfluorocaprylic acid in present of some catalyst. The orthogonal experiments were prepared based on the four main effective factors: reaction temperature, reaction time, the mole ratio of perfluorocaprylic acid to polyglycerol and catalyst species, the esterification yield and antifogging property of them were as the test indexes. It was shown that when n (perfluorocaprylic acid): n(polyglycerol) =1: 1.4, reaction temperature 205℃and reaction time 6 h, the esterification yield was up to 95.9%, and the antifogging property was well.The polyglycerol ester of perfluorocaprylic acid synthesized under optimum conditions was applied on agricultural plastic film as the antifogging aggent,find that the antifogging property(first drop time, ten-drops time (ten minutes after the first drop, the time from the 1st to the 10st drops) and persistent period at 80℃) were very fine, and it is a very exllent anti-droplet aggent. At the same time, from the point of view of cost reduction and preparation of exceptional performance of the anti-fog drops. Whether the compound antifogging agents could cooperate with each other was studied.
