Research And Development Of Drill' Quality Detection System

When manufacturing PCB, the drill's quality is an important factor to ensure the PCB's eligibility.To improve the drill's measurement way in China,this paper study the technology of developing the drill's AOI system which is based on photoelectricity measurement technology.In this dissertation, at first the importance of drill online detect was summarized. Then drill break detection module and diameter detection module which were parts of drill's AOI system were thoroughly analyzed. For drill break detection module, a sensor based on electric eye and LED was invented, and filter, ampfier, and transmission circuit for sensor were designed, software based on VHDL was developed. For diameter detection module, CMOS sensor was chosen to collect image data, the method for diameter detect was found out, network to commicate with PC which is based on RS485 was designed, and so was the sofware.By the experiment,the result proved:The accurate quality detection on drill using the system designed by the dissertation have credible availability and real-timeperformance and fulfils demands of the drill detection system.
