Deepwater rescue, escape and rescue is extremely difficult, therefore, BOP stacks and its control systems'technical performance and reliability requirement is very high. Domestic deepwater subsea BOP stacks control system is in the blank, far behind the foreign countries. The paper drawed lessons from foreign advanced control systems and domestic land-based BOP sophisticated technology, designed the schematic diagram of deepwater BOP stacks hydraulic control system, using three-dimensional solid modeling software SolidWorks designed a number of important models of hydraulic components and did systemic research on this model.The paper firstly introduced the mechanical structure and hydraulic system of BOP, introduced basic procedures for well control when a blow-out happened, selected the correct BOP stacks, identified the overall structure of the hydraulic control system as follows: surface hydraulic control systems, power fluid transmission from surface to subsea system and subsea hydraulic control system.Secondly according to API16D standards, the paper calculated the liquid volume of surface accumulator stacks and subsea accumulator stacks, designed the structure of a number of control valves in hydraulic control circuits.Then the paper used the hydraulic system simulation software LMS Imagine.Lab AMEsim did the math modeling and simulation research of constant output pressure relief valve and SPM valve. According to the hydraulic control system, the paper set up the system schematic of the simulation model and carried out a detailed simulation study, simulation results telled that with the subsea accumulators installed on the subsea BOP stacks, the control system can set time-frame to complete the BOP closure action, according to the API standard.Finally the paper introduced the secondary well control systems which commonly used in current operating system, for the deepwater subsea BOP primary control system may total loss, such as Deadman system, Automatic Model Function system, Electro-Hydraulic Backup systems, Emergency Disconnect system, Auto Disconnect system, Auto Shear system, Acoustic Backup system, as well as ROV.
