As a green newly non-ionic surfactant Alkyl Polyglycosides (APG) was widely used in factories, ordinary life and environment, etc. By contrast to other surfactant APG has excellent performance , such as decreased surface tension obviously, plentiful foam and consistent, better decontamination ability, innocuity, no thrill, best match with other active surfactant, sterilize and increased biology active. Based on the literatures we have a clear comprehension of mechanism on the synthesis reaction and the potential prospects in the future. In this paper, under the retrospect of green newly surfactant- Alkyl Polyglycosides (APG) we compare and generalize the method, reaction mechanism, the prospect of applying and industrialization. Then we did many experiments and found the optimist synthetic technics and got perfect product performance. In this paper, the synthesis and application of APG was studied through the Trans-glycosidation method. The virtual factor of reaction condition was the ratio of raw materials, the amount of catalysts, the reaction temperature, etc. Though selected catalyze, we had selected phosphate and p-toluence sulfonic acid. And we gained optimist ratio is m(phosphate):m(p-toluence sulfonic acid) is 3:1. The dosage of catalyze system is that potato starch is 0.5% and corn starch is 0.6%. Distillation vacuum is 0.08MPa under 110℃for 30 minutes. The effects of amount of catalyst, ratio of raw materials, temperature and time on the reaction were studied. For potato it is reacted with the ratio of m(glycol):m(dodecanol):m(starch)=6:3:1 at 115~120℃for 4h; for corn starch it is with the ratio of m(glycol):m(dodecanol):m(starch)=5:3:1 at 115~120℃for 4h.
