Study On The Idea Of Lester R.Brown's Plan B

Lester R.Brown thinks that traditional Plan A causes natural resources depleted, environment deteriorated rapidly, ecological destruction and society-divided got worse, mankind civilization got into trouble too, due to mankind centers around the economy growth and takes the GNP as the sole purpose, in order to overcome its imperfection and turn for a better state, mankind had to execute an economy development mode—Plan B to rescue the earth ,which is a sustainable mode in which economy and environment, mankind and nature ,mankind and society are all harmonious.The study trend in our country ,all the scholars mainly focus on Lester R.Brown's Eco-Economy idea, concerns little about his sustainable mode of Eco-Economy—Plan B, as a result, this dissertation gives Plan B an overall study and a systematic carding, tries to point out the necessity and possibility of implementation of Plan B, on the basis of it, this dissertation grasps the essence of Plan B and reflects on it firstly, at last, this dissertation tries to summarize and evaluate it, the aim is to learn some valuable ideas from it, to probe a kind of sustainable economy development mode and to serve for building socialism ecological civilization.
