This paper presents the High Temperature Air Combustion(HTAC) which is used in reheating furnace in JiGang. The High Temperature Air Combustion is a new combustion extended in developed country by 1990s.In this combustion high temperature air is sprayed into the furnace with high speed, and the mixed gas in the furnace is poor oxygen status . Compared with the old combustion, the main benefit of the new combustion is minimizing fuel consumption and reducing exhaust gas .The HTAC is called by the name of the important combustion in the twenty-one century.The exploitation of the HTAC will improve the efficiency of power,and reduce the pollution,and enhance the competition of the factory.This paper presents the elements of the reheating furnace , and presents the hardware of the Level 1 control system,and shows the functions of the the Level 1 control system of the reheating furnace. Base on this , author modelings heat transfer of the reheating furnace.This model can calculate the temperature of the billet by the temperature of the furnace and the flow of air and theflow of gas .And so it realizes the track of the temperature of the billets. It will optimize the automatic control by the model.
