We have developed and applied twofold combustion control system L1 and L2 in two 265t/h walking beam reheating furnace in PanGang hot strip mill.The main investigative content of L1 combustion control system is using fast response rate to achieve the aim temperature. The content include: a) the furnace temperature control; b) combustion control; c) measuring overmuch oxygen quantity to correct the proportion of the air and gas; d) small flux control; e) the furnace pressure control; f) the main pipe pressure of the air and gas control; g) the hot air release control; h) the temperature of the flue control.The emphases of our task is L2 second level combustion control system, the content is a technology of temperature set model which consider different situation such as the billet material, billet size, rolling aim size, rolling organizing plan, the billet charge temperature, rolling rhythm. Using the mathematics means to get optimizing temperature of the each control segment of the furnace which can be used online.The main content include:Research of the reheating furnace combustion control support system (billet check system, billet track system, process control system)Research of the reheating furnace combustion control system (disposal of the billet charging, disposal of the billet discharging, stopping disposal, cycle disposal. Cycle disposal is the pith of the reheating furnace combustion control system.)Reheating furnace's combustion and heat conduction is a very complex process. We develop this item independently for the first time in reheating furnace combustion control domain. The research and appliance of twofold combustion control system assure heating billets with high quality and little consumption, and provide a convenience for research heating techniques. The level of our item can represent the best level of reheating furnace combustion controlling. Our item provides a very good example for other reheating furnaces'combustion controlling in complex conditions.
