Silicone resin ,which has the double properties of both inorganic and organic materials and differs from any other organic resin, is an important part of organosilicone polymer materials and widely used in many fields.Normal silicone resins have high rigidity, good wearability and good insulation, but their elasticities are not very good. At low temperature, their capabilities are poor, which make their applications limited. In this article, we gave way to synthesize new kinds of flexible silicone resins, and several kinds of modified flexible silicone were synthesized.In this paper, the study was divided into four parts:The first part, introduction. The synthetic methods, properties, applications of silicon resin, linear polysiloxane, silicone modified epoxy resin were reviewed for the next phase of work, and a solid theoretical foundation.The second part, preparation of flexible methylphenyl silicone. Starting with the synthesis of liner polysiloxane, the low-molecular-weight liner polysiloxane and phenyl chlorosilane were hydrolyzed together in the role of coupling agent. The factors on the impact of flexible resin were discussed,such as mocular weight polysiloxane, amount of coupling agent, type of curing agent, etc. And the effects of amount of solvent, reaction temperature , the ratio of raw materials, synthetic resin technology on performance were also studied. Finally, a better high-resistant silicone which flexibility was less than 3mm was synthesized, and could be used under 300℃.The third part, preparation of silicone modified epoxy resin. Firstly, with polyamide -650 as the coupling agent ,liner polysiloxane as flexible chains, the epoxy resin TDE-85 and bisphenolA-type E-51 were modified. The molecular weight , dosage of polysiloxane and other factors affected the performance of resin were discussed. Secondly, via the introduction of an appropriate amount of epoxy resin to flexible silicone resin synthesied in the second part, the silicone resin was modified. The amount of epoxy resin, curing agent type affected shear performance and heat resistance were discussed. The results showed that the modified resins flexibility was from 3mm to 4mm, resin could be used under 400℃.The fourth part, preparation of a new type optical organosilicon. A kind of polysiloxane with the ester as the functional side group was prepared via hydrosilylation reaction in this paper. Then the functionalized polysiloxane was submitted to complex with RE3+ ions respectively. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), Ultraviolet absorption (UV) spectra and 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,29Si-NMR spectra were used to confirm the modification. And thermal gravity analysis (TGA) was used to study the polysiloxane's thermal properties. Then the complexes' luminescence spectra were recorded. Narrow-width green and red emissions were achieved respectively. The application in acrylic modified silicone resin of this material was prospected.Firstly, the innovation of this article was that the felxibility of silicone and epoxy resin were improved through introdution of flexible chains. Compared with the genenral resin, modified resin have the merit of heat-resistance, high-performance, flexibility,good viscidity. Secondly, a kind of organosilicon with fluorescent was synthesized.
