In practical applications of traditional silicone coatings,due to its poor mechanical properties,low adhesion 'to the substrate,etc.,it is not suitable for human needs,and it is prone to peeling,damage and cracking during use.Therefore,in view of the above problems,this article uses E51 epoxy resin to modify the silicone resin chemically,and adopts y-aminopropyltriethoxysilane to pretreat the epoxy resin,and successfully prepared the epoxy modified silicone coating.The molecular structure,surface properties,surface morphology,mechanical properties,seawater corrosion resistance and antifouling properties of the coating were studied.The effect of polyamide on the performance of the coating was studied.By preparing composite coatings of ten different formulations of epoxy-modified silicone coatings,four different formulations of silicone topcoats and three different formulations of epoxy primers,to study the interlayers of different composite coatings Adhesion and drag reduction performance.Studies have shown that y-aminopropyltriethoxysilane has successfully improved the compatibility of epoxy resins and silicone resins,the introduction of cross-linked network structure of epoxy resins has enhanced the mechanical properties of the coating,and has It has good adhesion,flexibility,impact resistance and seawater corrosion resistance.When the epoxy resin content is less than 24.8 wt%,the coating behaves as a tough material.When the epoxy resin content is higher than 34.3 wt%,the coating behaves as a brittle material.With the increase of epoxy resin content,the hardness of the coating increases,the fracture strength increases,the elastic modulus decreases and then increases,and the corrosion resistance decreases and then increases;the coating exhibits a certain degree of phase separation,but Without affecting its surface properties,the siloxane segments of the silicone resin are enriched on the surface of the coating makes it exhibit low surface energy.The surface energy of the coating is between 15 mJ/m2-21 mJ/m2 between.The addition of polyamide increases the cross-linking density inside the epoxy-modified silicone coating and improves its cross-linked network structure.The elongation and hardness of the coating increase,the elastic modulus and breaking strength decrease,and the shielding properties deteriorate,the impedance value increases.Epoxy modified silicone coating and pure epoxy thick paste paint and silicone topcoat show outstanding adhesion,the better the flexibility of the coating,the better the interlayer adhesion of the composite coating,polyamide plays a positive role in improving the adhesion between layers.The coating has a good drag reduction effect.The smaller the elastic modulus of the coating,the higher the elongation,and the smaller the resistance torque.The flexible coating is subject to less wear in the drag reduction experiment.Epoxy modified silicone coating has good antifouling effect,the smaller the hardness and the roughness of the coating,the higher the removal rate of fouling.The innovations of this article:(1)The method of pretreatment of epoxy resin with y-aminopropyltriethoxysilane improves the compatibility of epoxy resin and silicone resin.(2)Two epoxy-modified silicone coatings of cross-linking curing system were prepared,which effectively improved the adhesion of the silicone coating to the epoxy primer while maintaining the antifouling performance of the silicone coating.
