This paper summarizes the theory on the composition,formulation design,manufacturing processes,performance and influence performance factor and other aspects of delay composition ,analysis on existing problems of delay composition in our country.According to combustion reaction basic theory of delay composition for study on the formulation and mixed-way design of B/BaCrO4 delay composition,it is adopted the lead delay element to assembly into non-electric detonator that the delay time and precision is inspected,combined with practical application way of industrial detonators.The delay element is carried on more than a half year natural storage experiment to examine the storage stability of delay time and delay precision.According to Thermokinetic theory, B/BaCrO4 delay composition is carried on the thermal analysis experiment(TG-DSC) under the nitrogen atmosphere, using experimental data to calculate the activation energy by the Kissinger and Ozawa thermal dynamics equation.After the experimental study, draws following conclusion:(1) The B/BaCrO4 delay composition has burning rate stability,high delay precision and good storage performace;(2) At a certain extent,delay time and length delay element has the linear relationship basic;(3) The exothermic peak temperature of B powder is at 826.9℃and the weight increases about 80%;the exothermic peak temperature of BaCrO4 is at 990.63℃and the weight increase slightly;(4) The exothermic peak temperature and area of B/BaCrO4 delay composition increase with heating rate,along with B powder content's increase, the exothermic peak temperate and weight also increases;nitrogen is been involved in the reaction;(5)It has high activation energy,and increases along with the content B powder decreased;...
