Under the systematic study of mechanism and characteristics of explosives detonation and the production technology of powder emulsion explosive and expanded explosive, a new production technology of powder explosive is proposed. When water in the mixture of oil and water is overflowed under the certain temperature and vacuum, ammonium nitrate crystallizes and becomes expanded, later oil under the effect of self-emulsifier and non-mechanical force enters the room of water and coats the ammonium nitrate into form the structure of W/O.By analyzing the current production technology of powder ammonium nitrate explosive, we not only determine the production technology and process by studying the production characteristics of the explosive and the safety of process, but also verify the production could be continuous process.By analyzing and testing the physical properties of the water content,hygroscopicity,apparent density and microstructure and the explosion properties of the detonation velocity,underwater explosion, moreover comparing with the powder emulsion explosive and expanded explosive, the explosive is proved to have the good physical properties and the explosion properties.By analyzing and testing mechanical sensitivity,Friction Sensitivity and DSC, moreover comparing with the powder emulsion explosive and expanded explosive, we make sure that the Technological Conditions(temperature is 115℃and vacuum is between―0.085 and―0.095MPa)are safe.Under the systematic study of mechanism and characteristics of explosives detonation and the production technology of powder emulsion explosive and expanded explosive, the production technology of the explosive is made sure by experiment and can get valuable for practical production.
