This thesis includes four chapters.Chapter 1: A brief review for the research of 1,2,4-triazole in recent years. This chapter is a brief review for the type, research, synthetic methods and application values of triazole derivatives in recent years.Chapter 2: Synthesis and Biology Activity of 2-(5-Phenoxymethyl-4-phenyl- 4H-1,2,4-triazol-3- ylsulfanyl)-N-Aryl-aceta mide.A series of new 2-(5-phenoxymethyl-4-phenyl-4H-1,2,4-triazol-3-ylsulfanyl) -N-aryl-aceta mide were synthesized by the reaction of S-alkylation from N-phenyl-2- chloroacetamide reacting with some triazole derivatives in aqueous media without catalysis. The structures of all synthesized compounds were con-firmed by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR spectre. The preliminary biological tests showed that some of the title compounds remarkably en-hanced the root elongation, and all compounds inhibited the plant stem in the whole range of concentrations.Chapter 3: Synthesis and Biology Activity of 2-[5-Phenoxymethyl-4-phenyl -1,2,4] triazole- 3-thio] ethyl acetateSix novel derivatives of 2-[5-Phenoxymethyl-4-phenyl- [1,2,4]triazole-3-thio] ethyl acetate were synthesized by the reaction of 4-phenyl-5-aryloxymethyl -3-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole and ethyl chloroacetate under microwave irraditions. All the products were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and 1H NMR. From the bioactivity of the compounds investigated, they showed good plant growth regulative property.Chapter 4: The study of supramolecular crystal structure of 1,2,4-triazole derivatives.In this section, part of the intermediate and the product were brought up to crystal. The crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis, and the result show that the familiar supramolecular weak forces were involved in the crystal, just as the intermolecular hydrogen bond and theπ-πinteractions, which link the molecules together as different supramo- lecular structure.
