Spiral centrifuge is a machine in use of centrifugal sedimentation principle. As it can continuously run and fit for many kinds of material, so it has a widely use in fields of oil,chemical engineering,metallurgy,medicine. Traditional research of centrifuge main concentrate on the improvement of structure parameters by trial method, the obvious disadvantage is expending time and money. Until now it still have no identical cognition about flow rule of cengtrifuge.The paper simplifies the flow field and adopts Fluent software for simulation, according to flow trait of centrifuge. Analyse suitable scope and computation requirement of different turbulence models, choosing RSM model to compute flow. First, use material water as flow medium, get velocity distribution,pressure distribution,turbulence sturcture. Then,choose DPM to analyse solid-liquid two-phase flow according to the situation that solid volume is less than 10%Compare simluation data with subsistent flow theory, the result imply that it is not just laminar flow along the whole rotating drum. Axial velocity havs diferent distributions during vary length of rotating drum, particle sedimentation is greatly affected by turbulence near the inlet and outlet. Have a comparison between particle movement and stoke's law. Based on proper grid partition and right setting of boundary conditions, it can get precise result. Fluent software can use for simulation of centrifuge.Have different suspension experiment to research on factor that influence separate efficiency and compare with simulation results. We conclude that physical model can describe solid-liquid separating process on a certain extent. On that base, influence of flux,rotating speed,depth of liquid wall to separate efficiency are analysed, the lag value of angle velocity is about 0.83 under current structure condition.Analyse results based on condition of different viscosity, the pressure,velocity,sedimentation time increase as viscosity increase, separate efficiency decrease as it increase.
