Oil gathering and transferring systems of the eighth factory of Daqing oilfield mostly use circular water-mixed oil gathering technology. Each oil catch ring of metering plant controls 3~5 wells. For many years'field operation, every gathering parameter doesn't adjust correspondingly with the changes of well producing parameters. Simultaneously, control imbalance and too conservative control parameters lead to increased energy consumption. Average gas consumption to per ton oil for gathering and transferring is 65.2m3/t High energy loss becomes the main operation problem of gathering and transferring system in this factory. In order to reduce energy loss of oil gathering and transferring system in production process, study heat transfer laws of oil-gas-water three phase flow, and develope petroleum multiphase flow in China, This paper studies on temperature limit and energy saving technology of circular gathering and transferring process in oil field.Using production field of gathering and transferring system in the eighth factory of Daqing Oilfield as the object,this paper studies flow pattern of oil-gas-water three phase, and proposes safe temperature limit of mixed transportation of oil-gas-water three phase flow by setting up flow-pattern device in metering plant of production field. At the same time, according to the knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and hdrodynamics, we set up thermal and hydraulic calculation models of oil-gas-water three phase flow in circular gathering and transferring process. And combining with field test data, we modify the models. Finally, basing on the study above, we establish optimization model of oil gathering and transferring system. Comparing with the oilfield production, the results show that energy-saving effect is significant after application in oilfield.
