The cinnamic esters are kind of important organic compounds which had been closely watched for its multi-function of being used as spice, medicine intermediate and its pharmacological activities.This essay study on microwave assisted synthesis of cinnimic esters catalysized by macroporous resin based on the defects of conventional routes catalytic esterification.This thesis consists of four main parts as following:Section 1: Brief summary of current situation of microwave assisted green synthesis esters.Section 2. Study on microwave radiation, macroporous resin catalysis synthesis cinnamic esters,and structure represented by IR,MS, refractive index and boiling point This experiment investigated the microwave power, reaction time, amount of catalyst and the mole of acid to alcoh production rate and find the best technological conditions by the orthogonal experiment. The results of the experiment is: microwave assisted synthesis cinnamic esters takes 10-30min, and production rates over 90%.Under the optimum condition, the catalyst recovery and recycle repeatedly used for 10 times with invariable production rates. The result of experiment demonstrated that the microwave assisted macroporous resin catalysis esterification is the feasible for it has many advantages such as: clean, high efficiency, low energy consumption, pro-environment , simple and convenient etc. And the catalyst are renewable and recyclable which meets up the green chemistry technical requirements.Section 3. Study on microwave assisted macroporous resin catalysis synthesis cinnimic amyl ester by the ester exchange reaction, and structure represented by IR,MS, refractive index and boiling point.under the condition:microwave power 400W,the reaction time is 30min, the amount of catalyst is 35% of the reactant quality, under the condition of ester alcohol mole of ration 1:6, the production rate is 66.0%. Learning from the result, microwave assisted macroporous resin catalysit can be used both in esterifiction and ester exchange reaction. And it's worth futher study on the application scope expansion.Section 4. Study on microwave assisted synthesis on the active ingredient :10 -acetoxy decanoic acid in royal jelly, and structure represented by EA, IR,and melting point determination. Learn from the experiment result we get to know: the reaction rate of the microwave radiation heating enhances 12 times and the production rate increases nearly 10% compare with the traditional heating. Thus also confirmed the microwave assisted synthesis is an fast ,highly effective and simple feasible green synthesis.
