Discussion On Ecological Civilization Construction During The Primary Stage Of Socialism

Ecological civilization is not only an inherent requirement of Marxism, but also the essence of socialist property, thus building socialism with Chinese characteristics requires implementing ecological civilization inevitably, ecological harmony is a necessary condition for ecological civilization. Currently, the status quo of ecological resources in China's primary stage of socialism is: serious environmental pollution, ecological function degradation, scarcity of energy resources and extremely low utilization rate; the sign of man and nature antagonizing each other is the contradiction between unlimited consumption and limited energy ecology; the fundamental way to resolve this contradiction is to conduct a thorough social revolution: to use Marxist concept of ecological civilization in the new time to arm people, to change the production mode to achieve the ecological modernization, to improve the socialist market economic system, to set up and better a sound legal system and ethical standards which are adapted to ecological civilization.
