Five-axis CNC machine tool,with its high flexibility,plays a decisive role in the processing of complex parts in fields of aerospace,automobile,and ship.Numerical control system and post-processing system are important foundations for ensuring high-quality,high-precision,and high-efficiency machining.In this paper,an open numerical control system and post-processing system was developed,on the basis of independently researched and developed 5-axis milling machine prototype.The main research contents include:(1)Design and development of the CNC system hardware of the five-axis linkage machine tool.The electrical control system of the five-axis linkage machine tool was designed and built.Based on this,the servo system motor debugging and PID debugging of the CNC machine tool were performed.Then,the machine tool accuracy was detected and error compensation was implemented using dual-frequency laser interferometer,improving the accuracy of the machine tool.(2)Development of the five-axis linkage CNC software system.For the open CNC hardware system,the NC software system was developed based on C#language.Functions of communication,motion control and program processing of CNC system were realized through docking with PComm32 dynamic link library.(3)Nonlinear error analysis and post processing system development.Based on the independently developed B/C axis hybrid five-axis milling machine tool,a nonlinear error analysis model was established.Based on the error analysis results,an error compensation strategy was proposed and the corresponding error compensation algorithm was incorporated into the self-developed post-processor,providing evidence for post-sequence simulation and experimental processing.(4)Machining simulation and experiment.Processing simulation system was established using VERICUT software.NC code obtained by post-processing was simulated in the established processing simulation to verify the correctness of the NC code.Finally,the milling process was performed on the self-developed NC machine tool.The experimental results verified the feasibility of the developed CNC system and post-processing.
