Precision Injection molding as a higher level of molding process can meet the high demands of the size's repeat accuracy, the density and the intrinsic stress of the plastic injection products which the normal injection molding cannot achieve. Accordingly the controller of the precision injection molding which has higher control precision, controls the temperature of barrel precisely, guarantees stability and reliability of the execution system and produces the satisfactory products repeatedly.The design of hardware and software of precision injection molding controller is proposed. First the main function of the controller is analyzed to present the design of the hardware. Then the software of driver modules which includes AD conversion, IO, the communication between the client and server and application software for injection process control by state machine programming are designed. Finally, some reliability guidelines of the design of control system are presented to improve the stability of the injection molding system. The whole design is applied in Hai Tian injection molding machine. The good running performance is obtained to verify that the design is practical and reliable.
