Design And Realization On The Multi-protocol Mining Gateway Based On ARM

With the development of information in coal mines, wireless network, as asupplement of cable communication networks of mines, is putted into applicationgradually in the coal mine. The development trend of communication system in coalmine is achieving the realization of seamless coverage in mines with thecombination of cable and wireless network. The development of heterogeneousnetwork brings up more convenient in coal mines but it also appears in many defectssuch as non-compatibility, so it is very necessary that we should develop a multi-protocol mining gateway in the mine communication at present.The thesis has researched the following aspects of the excogitation of multi-protocol mining gateway.(1) Multi-protocol mining gateway is the bridge between cable network andwireless network such as Wifi, ZigBee,3G network. This thesis firstly studiedrelated techniques about Ethernet network, Wifi wireless network, ZigBee wirelessnetwork and3G wireless network. It introduced the concept and operating principlesof Ethernet, layering model of TCP/IP, characteristics of main TCP/IP protocols, theconcept and the applications in coal mine of industrial Ethernet, then introduced theconcept, characteristics, relative standards and applications of theses wirelessnetwork.(2) The thesis designed hardware circuit of multi-protocol mining gateway.Analyzed features of S3C6410processor, provided excogitations of peripheralinterface circuits, such as FLASH interface circuit, SDRAM interface circuit,DM9000Ethernet card interface circuit and serials port access circuit of wirelessmodule.(3) The thesis developed upper application software of wireless multi-protocolmining gateway. It conducted a software development platform of multi-protocolmining gateway, including the porting of U-Boot and Linux kernel, and themanufacturing of yaffs2file system. It introduced socket programming in embeddedLinux. And developed the client server application of the multi-protocol mininggateway, based on the software platform, and introduced a program flow chart.(4) The thesis sstudied the multi-protocol mining gateway protocol conversionmethod based on IP technology, and realizing the interconnection in the IP networks.It given the solutions based on virtual IP to access gateway in the Non-IP network, for instance, and combined with ZigBee sensor network and Ethernet network.Finally, the thesis tested system of the multi-protocol mining gateway.
