The article rests on enveloping principle of the differential geometry, embarks from the movement relations between grinding wheel and the cutting tool, establishing mathematical model of rake face.Though the finite element methord analyzes to optimizing the geometry parameter of rake face of the new configured gearpinion cutter.Modeling substantiality model of the new configured gearing cutter bases on mathematical model of rake face before using the finite element methord .The model of rake face is complex, very difficultly directly realizes its curved surface modelling in the three dimensional design software. Therefore, constructing the model of curved surface under the mathematics software of MATLAB, the curved surface information read-in curved surface design module through great order under the CATIA software, unifies the cutting tool geometry parameter to design in the three dimensional assistance in the software to realize the new configuration slotting cutter substantiality model established.According to statistics layer of cutting area of the gear shaping cutting process in the cutting tool and the gear movement relations, has simultaneously realized on the slotting process cutting edge the host cutting force and the cutting temperature statistics, using the finite element method analyzes the stress and the strain of the cutting tool, situation and optimizes the cutting tool geometry parameter.
