Organochlorine pesticides is a typical priority control persistent organic pollutants. Thereinto endosulfan has the potential unknown hazards. It as a typical new type of organochlorine pesticides gradually be emphasized. HCH and DDT has been banned nearly three decades. So far all over the world there are still different media and even the human body detection due to their environmental persistence, their residual levels different. The Bohai Rim, located in northern China, is one cradle of China's traditional agriculture and farming civilization. It is also one of the larger use of organochlorine pesticides areas. This study was collected 264 surface soil samples from 2005 to 2008,17 cities, districts and counties of the Bohai coastal area. Using GC-ECD determination of endosulfan, HCH and DDT isomers and metabolites content. On this basis, investigate endosulfan, HCH and DDT isomers and metabolites of the spatial distribution, composition, degradation and transformation, and pollution levels. The results show that, total endosulfan contamination is 3.61μg/kg. Endosulfan residues is highest in Shouguang soil of study areas. In different cropping patterns soils, average levels of∑endosulfan were highest in vegetable plot soil, no endosulfan were detected in soils of grass land and cotton field. P-endosulfan is the highest relative content isomer. Use the value of a/(a+β) analysis the transform, source and sinks of endosulfan. The results show that soils in the study area is a sink of endosulfan and there is had no use recently, endosulfan degradation occurred in soil. Endosulfan in Bohai coastal areas soils contaminated with low levels of Chinese agricultural soils, compared with foreign countries at a medium level.∑HCHs and∑DDTs contamination were 4.45 and 24.35μg/kg. Residues highest were in the Changhai and Xingcheng soils, respectively. In different cropping patterns soils, EHCHs and∑DDTs were highest in wheatmaize and cornfield soils, respectively. P-HCH is the major component in HCH residues; p, p'-DDE and p, p'-DDT are the major component in DDT residues. Use of a/y-HCH and p, p'-(DDE+DDD)/DDT value analysis the degradation of HCH and DDT. The results show that, Linghai Zhanhua and Shouguang soils maybe polluted by industrial HCH. Other areas may have a small amount of Lindane usage. DDT in Changhai, Shouguang and Zhanhua soil samples take place degradation. In other areas and maximum value soil sampling points, DDT, degradation not obvious, has the "new" inputs from the local usage or long-distance migration and depositon. HCH pollution is in the low level compared with domestic and foreign, and its degradation in the soil is marked; Bohai Sea coast of DDT contamination in soil at a medium level in China.
