Vulnerability Assessment Of Natural Disasters And Differentiation Characteristics Of Circum-Bohai Area

In recent years, frequent natural disasters bring enormous financial loss、casualties andpsychological trauma to human production and lives at home and abroad. Because of thespecial geographic location、dense population and intensive economy, vulnerability of naturaldisasters in coastal cities is much higher.High vulnerability of natural disasters in coastal cities has aroused great concern, Thispaper is based on this hot spot to deeply research the concepts、features、influencing factorsand methods of vulnerability, Learn the experience from domestic and abroad aboutvulnerability assessment, choose eighteen evaluation indicators according to naturalconditions、infrastructure、population composition、financial situation and the responsecapacity after the disaster five aspects, determine the weights of indexes through entropymethod, establish assessment index system.The paper takes the seventeen coastal cities and Beijing of Circum-Bohai area asresearching objects. After collecting original data,deal the data and calculate with linearweighting method to obtain accurate results. Use the the results of assessment to draw spatialdistribution maps about natural conditions、infrastructure、population composition、financialsituation、the response capacity after the disaster and comprehensive index, The spatialdistribution maps intuitively show the spatial differences. Then the paper analyses the reasonsin detail. The results show that among the eighteen cities of Circum-Bohai area, Cities withhigh vulnerability degree are Beijing、Tianjin、Cang zhou, the degree is above0.5;Cities withintermediate vulnerability degree are Yingkou、Wei fang、Tangshan、Jinzhou、Rizhao、Huludao、Qingdao、Binzhou, the degree is between0.4and0.5;Cities with low vulnerabilitydegree are Dalian、Panjin、Yantai、Dandong、Dongying、Qinhuangdao、Weihai, the degreeis between0.3and0.4.Through the evaluation process, Not only verify the rationality of the evaluation system,but also put forward valuable suggestions according to local conditions to reduce thevulnerability. At last, conclude the defects of this paper and point somewhere which can befurther studied. Provide theoretical basis for further study、 disaster prevention andreduction.
