Study On Environmental Carrying Capacity Of Bohai Bay Coastal City

The Chinese economy,politics,culture are developing rapidly and have great impact on the urban environment.Development should be based on sustainable principle and the government should implement sustainable development strategy to maintain the growing economy.Lots of practice indicate that the development of the economy and society must be within the range of environment capacity,which could make human activities harmless to the stability of the regional sustainable development system.Neglecting the ultimate limit of the environmental carrying capacity,excessive resources consumption and environmental damage will give rise to the vicious circle of the development of environment and economy.Bohai Bay is one of the largest three bays of the Bohai Sea.Under the great background of the integration of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,the evaluation studies I made about environmental carrying capacity of the coastal cities of Bohai Bay goes with the current of the times.Based on literature review,this study gives a more complete description about the environmental carrying capacity after grasping the progress and characteristics of domestic and international studies.After confirming the principles and approaches of the indicator selection of the environmental carrying capacity of the coastal cities of Bohai Bay,this study establishes an environmental carrying capacity evaluation index system with strong operability and application and determines the weight with AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process),which makes up the lack of studies on the evaluation index system of environmental carrying capacity of coastal cities.Then,choosing the FCE(fuzzy comprehensive evaluation)method as the evaluation method of the environmental carrying capacity of coastal cities of Bohai Bay and taking Tangshan as an example to make an empirical study.The environmental carrying capacity evaluation result of Tangshan city from 2010 to 2015 is obtained.At last,according to the evaluation results,it puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of environmental carrying capacity and economic development of Tangshan.Through the study of this paper,on the one hand,the evaluation index system and evaluation method of environmental carrying capacity of the coastal cities of Bohai Bay is established,which enriches the evaluation theory of environmental carrying capacity of coastal cities.On the other hand,in the empirical study of Tangshan,it obtains the evaluation reality of the environmental carrying capacity in Tangshan,which provides relevant policy recommendations to the sustainable development of Tangshan and the whole coastal cities of Bohai Bay.
