At present, because the energy consumption of rod pump production system, become a growing problem, pumping system efficiency is generally low, which will directly affect the cost of crude oil. In order to achieve normal production of oil wells to reduce the cost of oil, using energy-saving equipment and the application of new technologies and new methods to improve system efficiency of oil wells has drawn increasing attention. Therefore, In order to achieve normal production of oil wells and reduce oil production costs .That is necessary to analyse the factors for efficiency of oil pumping and the reasons for energy transfer process comprehensively and systematically. Next, carrying out research for improving the efficiency of pumping system will play an important role for controlling of energy consumption and reducing the cost of crude oil production In this way, it will achieve high efficiency, low energy consumption, orderly adjustment and scientific management Aim for the production status which oilfield faced. and the following four aspects are mainly involved in this paper: (1)According to the structural characteristics of pumping unit, The mathematical model for the suspension point motion law and dynamic analysis is stabled. The suspension point motion law of walking-beam pumping unit, Which is derived by vector method. In this way ,It can calculate the velocity and acceleration of suspension point with the changes in the relationship between crank shaft, And the calculation formula for gear box and crank shaft torque of beam pumping unit is deducted. (2) According to the characteristics of the work of pumping system, The composition of the pumping system efficiency is analyzed in detail. And the ground segment of pumping system efficiency has been divided. Then, the efficiency of ground sub-test program and the formulas for processing data have been established. At last it has described the test principles and the experimental results are analyzed (3) The causes power loss of pumping wells on the ground each node is analyzed by using of mechanical engineering theory, According to the structure parameters of Pumping ground equipment and the reservoir physical parameters. It can calculate the each sub-system energy losses and then, it can analyse the energy consumption.
