The efficiency of pumping system is an important economic index of oilfield development and it embodies a concentrated reflection of the development of oil field equipment level and production management level. In the artificial lift methods of all kinds, rod pumping as one of the world’s oil industry, the traditional mode of production, which is the earliest and most as an artificial lift method widely, so far in the artificial lift oil extraction engineering has been dominant, play a decisive role in China’s petroleum and recovery. Rod pumping is the main exploitation in oil exploitation, beam pumping unit is still the main mechanical oil production equipment, the use of high proportion of over90%. Along with the oilfield development, production cost is increasing year by year, and show the rod pumping of energy consumption and energy saving technology of oil system, has the very strong practical significance to energy saving and efficient development of oil fields.Based on the test and analysis of wood oil beam pumping system, to carry out technology research and improve the efficiency of the system, mainly discusses the main factors which influence the efficiency of pumping system, including motor, pumping unit, sucker rod, sucker rod pump such as "hardware" equipment factors, including swabbing parameters,"ten rate","software" parameters such as pump efficiency factors. In order to improve the pumping system efficiency and yield were studied method to optimize parameters as the goal, is an effective method to improve the efficiency of pumping system, achieves the oil production and consumption, prolong the service life of the system, to reduce the cost of production, and has good popularization value.
