Since Sabei development area has been in the phase of super-high water-cut period, that means it faces serious situation such as unbalanced reserve-production, greate raising of liquid-oil ratio and so on. In this period, many of the layers is highly flooded by water and the distribution of oil and water is very complex. Meanwhile, normal development methods and adjustment of water wells are restricted by technique and economic benefit. As a result, it is very diffcult to further raise swept volumn. Consequently, how to control the rising of water-cut, how to slow down production degression and how to decrease low and uneffective cycle are the key point to improve reservior development and raise development ecnomic benefit. So among which methods, hydrodynamic methods is the most ecnomic and effective one. Based on hydrodynamic, from the researching of mechanism, with the methods of seepage mechanics, taking the pessure field and the change of flow field in reservior as the breakthrough point and according to theory researching and mathimatic deduce, we make it clear that the mechnasm of periodic injection-production and its mechanics machanism and meanwhile we get the equation of pressure and water-cut saturation. We also research the change of flow field with numeric simulation and research periodic injection-production well chosen principle and methods, finnally we optimized the residual water in the experiment area through numeric simulation. After field experiment, the goal of controlling water-cut and slowing down production degression is realized. All those above become basic theories for periodic production-injection and will be proper references for other blocks that is being water flooding.After field application, water injected is reduced 20.27×104m3, water produced is reduced 7.40×104m3 . In the year 2008, the natural decline rate is 8.30%, compared to the same series of strata, 0.2 percentage is slowwed down.
