With the development of petroleum exploration and depletion, stratigraphic composition is more and more complicated. There are more and more deep well, ultradeep well and high pressurem high temperature well. The measuring of these special wells face great challenges. At the same time with the development of drilling technology and improvement of exploration standard, the quality of the well body is increasingly required. The measurement and control of vertical Wells becomes more and more important. This thesis based on these problems, analyzed the Structure characteristics and the technological requirements of the clinometer all over the world. Now,the cost of clinometer is high, the structure is complicated, some of them can't run while drilling, some of them are not suitable for high temperature well.This thesis solve the technical problems of logging while drlling, warning signals upload, pulse wave decoding and successfully developed a kind of convenient, cheaper clinometer which suit to DaQing oilfield. It has a lot of advantages such as simple operation, easy to use, strong adaptability and can achieve logging while drlling.This thesis introduced the designment, key technology and the application of this clinometer. This set of tool is tested in some block of DaQing oilfield, meet the technological requirements.Using thise clinometer will accelerate drilling speed, reduce well deviation accidents, improve quality of well and reduce the drilling cost.
