The eplerentone is belone to pharmaceutical of bio-fermentation. So the eplerentone pharmaceutical waste water has high concentration, complex components, a great deal hard biodegradation and toxicity materials. This paper adopt phy-chemistry, anaerobic and aerobic method to study on the biodegradation of main contamination in waste water. The main results as below:(1)Adopting the method of flocculation can get preferable effect on the removal of CODCr and elevation of BOD5/CODCr in eplerentone pharmaceutical waste water. In the optimum coagulation conditions, the removal of CODCr is between 50% to 60% and BOD5/CODCr is increased from 0.20 to 0.39. So the capability of biochemistry is improved. The best trial conditions are: the best flocculation is PAC, the best capacity of medicine is 300mg/L, the best capacity of coagulant aid PAM is 14mg/L.(2) The BMP of the waste water is 358.2mLCH4/L.The research on BMP of waste water shows that the eplerentone pharmaceutical waste water has definite anoxygenic resolvability, which is fit for method of aerobic.(3)The effect of treatment of eplerentone pharmaceutical waste water with the anaerobic packed bed reactor is perfect. When the system is stable, the rate of removal of CODCr is above 60%, the VFA in outlet water is 10~240 mg/L, alkalinity is among 400~700 mg/L. The cushion capability of system is perfect. After the treatment of anaerobic, BOD5/CODCr of the waste water is increased to 0.4, the capability of biochemistry is improved.(4) The process of the anaerobic packed bed reactor treatment this kind waste water is accord to the model of Stover-Kincannon, and kinetic constants of anaerobic digestion Umax is 6.13gCOD·L-1·d-1, saturation constant Kh is 8.15gCOD·L-1·d-1. Its dynamics parameter equation can offer theoretic basis about relation of VLR and removal of CODCr. (5)SBR which treated the outflow of anaerobic treatment was an effective aerobic treatment. In the condition of CODCr is 600~1000 mg/L of ingoing waste water, the rate of removal of CODCr can achieve to 60~70% and the rate of removal of NH3-N can achieve above 90%.(6)The study on experiment indicted that treated the eplerentone pharmaceutical waste water by phy-chemistry- anaerobic-aerobic treatments was feasible. After such treatment , the concentration of CODCr in outgoing waste water is below 500mg/L, and any other index such as NH3-N are all accord with the third grade standard of effluent.
