The use of advanced computer technology in an integrated manner, access and reuse in the process of stamping die design and apply new knowledge in mold design, reduced development costs and shorten the development cycle, is the knowledge economy a necessary requirement for the mold industry. Stamping die design knowledge-depth study of the excavation techniques, maximize the use of the latest research on artificial intelligence, combined with network technology stamping die design knowledge to enhance the sharing and exchange for the promotion of intelligent design mold development and application of technology has important theoretical and practical significance.Stamping characteristics of the model is the basis for knowledge discovery; its characteristics and attributes defined accurately or not will directly affect the success of knowledge discovery. This paper studied the characteristics and attributes blanking effect on mold design, the establishment of a knowledge-oriented feature model Blanking excavated and made the definition of the key features of Blanking. The model changes the definition of press features the characteristics of the field follow the definition of machine methods, the material properties, and geometric characteristics of the organic blend together, and integrated application of a variety of fuzzy technology, meet the designers thinking habits, contributes to the knowledge excavation. In the above theories and methods based on the contents of this paper and results of the following:1. Described by fuzzy reasoning technology stamping die design of tacit knowledge explicit theoretical basis for the establishment of the unity of stamping die design knowledge representation model, contribute to knowledge accumulation and reuse.2. Based on the typical characteristics of the information summarized blanking attributes defined in this paper, the fuzzy system design process knowledge, through the introduction of fuzzy theory, and it features integrated processing model of knowledge, play to their strengths, the maximum to find the problem solution.3. Proposed to establish a knowledge discovery-oriented feature model of stamping parts, and examples of methods based on blanking die design.4. This knowledge, according to the characteristics of Blanking, combined with the definition of a database made as there are both dynamic memory model-the model example of storage model template.5. In the Pro/E to implement the stamping die-parametric modeling.
