Effected by printing technology, machines and other factors, even the printing products from the same batch have different color appearances.However, the stability and consistency of color appearance of the same batch productions is an important standard tojudge the printing quality. So, the research about it shows its significant practical meaning.This text,using printing quality detection methods,printing theory and statistical principle to analysis pearance of printing products.The main work of this paper and results obtained are as follows:1)Designed the experimental plate which was mainly composed of designed color patches and ISO12640 standard color images. Printed the plate, then took 200 continuous sheets for experiment.2)Assigned 70 different patches as testing points. Measured the L*,a*,b*values as basic data; furthermore, selected those patches with the same designed chroma values, totally 12 pairs,as supplementary data.3)Observed the the datas of every test patches to find their dynamic trend in printing process. In order to improve the scientific and correct level of the results,pre-treated the raw experimental data to remove those special datas.4)Used software platform to analysis the values of the patch on different sheets. According to its color appearance curve, reveal the trend and pattern and make the theorical anylisis. The result shows, patches in different positions varies from each other in color appearance.They all allow the bell-shape, but not the normal distribution.5)The color appearance of test patches correlated a lot to the positions they set in the paper.The result showed that,the gripper edge area had the worst printing quality;while the middle of the sheet had the best printing quality. Meanwhile,the color of patches on quality controlling strips appeared different with those in printing area,which also meant that using controlling strips to detect and control printing process was not scientific and reasonable. 6)Summarized the experimental data, and analyzed the root causes of deviation.The colorimetric deviation distribution of productions may be related to the paper moisture deformation, the dynamic balance between ink and water, printing machinery, the pressure between the printing plate and printing between the components of the pressure distribution and stability.At the same time,these factors were closely related to each other.
