The taper leaf springs, as tendency of leaf spring, are becoming widely used in motor industry; AGC (Auto Gauge Control) control system is a main strategy for thickness control. For the purpose of satisfying the requirements of clients for dimension and figure precision of springs, hydraulic AGC system of taper leaf spring mill was researched.Through the analysis for principle of taper leaf springs roll and equipment, the adjustment principle of hydraulic AGC control system of taper leaf spring mill was proposed, and, the mathematical model of APC (Auto Position Control), inside loop of AGC control system, was established. By the usage of MATLAB, the capability of system was simulated and analyzed, the simulation result turned out to be good. Connectting with PID and fuzzy control, fuzzy-PID controller was achieved, with which to adjust the system, getting satifactory effects.Based on the statements above, whether the taper leaf spring hydraulic AGC control system work well or not depends on the choosen for static parameters, and, fuzzy-PID controller helps a lot in capability for complex hydraulic system.
