Raw material grinding is an important process of cement production, providing excellent raw material powder for the clinker calcinations. Now there are three major cement raw material grinding processes(Ball mill grinding system, roller press grinding system, Vertical mill grinding system), because of the different grinding characteristics and energy index in three kinds of grinding process, different physical and chemical properties of the raw material, so carrying out the study on grinding process of raw performance, Guiding the choice of raw material preparation system of the new dry cement process improving choices of raw material section in cement production process and cement process design control parameters, to provide a theoretical basis for improve yield and quality of cement calcinations and reducing energy consumption.Firstly, using Laser particle size analysis, X-ray fluorescence analysis and chemical analysis to research micro-surface morphology, particle size distribution of three kinds of particles of cement raw material grinding process and calculate CaO SiO2 uniformity of grain size variation under different fractions of three cement compound. The results show that different characteristics of three grinding process Affect the quality of raw coefficient and characteristics of uniform sizeχ, Uniformity coefficient n (Ball mill raw meal<Roller press raw meal<Vertical mill raw meal), Feature sizeχ(Roller press raw meal<Ball mill raw meaRoller press>Vertical mill, raw material decomposition temperature and raw material activation energy of decomposition:Ball mill>Roller press>Vertical.Thirdly, consider the SiO2 uniformity on Clinker calcinations study calcinations properties on different ratio of SiO2 in raw Fineness. The results show that: burnability of Coarse proportion raw material is poor than sandstone proportion raw material, fCaO in Clinker content increase with SiO2 particles increases.80um SiO2 particles size fraction has a small differences effect, SiO2 45μm particle and above affect the decomposition temperature of the raw material the activation energy significantly, raw material decomposition temperature and activation energy of decomposition of raw material increase with fineness of sand particles.Fourthly, integrated the findings of physical and chemical properties of three kinds of cement raw material grinding process, In the actual production, roller press Systems and ball mill Systems compared to vertical mill Systems, must reduce the degree of the raw material to ensure the performance of raw material calcination, in three kinds of grinding coefficient should control more than 45μm SiO2 content of coarse particles to ensure the raw material Clinker calcination performance.
