Linear polyamides are a class of commonly used epoxy resin curing agent, however, the arrangement of its molecules more tightly, in the curing process which could result in deterioration of rheological, accelerate curing, and go against enhancing the applied performance and mechanical strength of curing materials. In this paper, the molecular structure of this type curing agent has been reconstructured; the claw group has been introduced in the end of its branched chain, which was also named amidogen. Through reconstructured, a new branch-clawed polyamide has formed. The compound has the following characteristics:(1) the clawed molecular structure can significantly reduce the close arrangement of molecules, to improve the rheological properties of curing system; (2) the clawed molecular structure can lead to steric hindrance significantly increasing between the amidogens, result in reducing the rate of cross-linking reaction and be conducive to materials casted; (3) in the process of curing, several amidogens can be beneficial to the density of cross-linking, thereby improve mechanical properties of the material. This main content and conclusion in this paper are divided into following parts:An organic polynitrile N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-nitrilethyl)ethylenediamine was synt-hesized by the nucleophilic additive reaction of ethylenediamine and acrylonitrile. The N,N,N',N'-tetra(3-aminopropyl)ethylenediamine was synthesized by the hydro-genation of N,N,N',N'-tetra(2-nitrilethyl)ethylenediamine in the presence of catalyst Raney Ni. Then a new branch-clawed polyamide was synthesized by condensation with N,N,N',N'-tetra(3-aminopropyl)ethylenediamine and dimmer fatty acid. The influence of the factors such as time to the reaction, temperature to the reaction, total acid-amine molar ratio, the amine value, acid value, saponification value and iodine value of the product have been studied by some orthogonal design experiments. The optimal synthesis conditions of branch-clawed polyamide are as follows:reaction time 2 hours, the reaction temperature 190℃, molar ratio of acid-amine 1:1.5. The amine value, acid value, iodine value and saponification value of branch-clawed polyamide are as follows:308,4,368 and 139. Molecular weight is 709. The molecular structure of the products has been characterized by means infrared spectrum (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), electros pray ionization mass spectrometry (ES-MS) and thermogravimetric-differential scanning calorimeter (TG-DSC). In this paper, with polyethyleneimine and 1-bromo-octadecane as raw materials, tetrahydrofuran as solvent, by adding molar equivalent of NaOH- methanol solution, then washing and drying, the comb-like molecular additives have been successfully synthesized. The molecular structure of the products has been characterized by means infrared spectrum (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and thermogravimetric-differential scanning calorimeter (TG-DSC).Because this compound amphiphilic synergy, can make inorganic solid powder in organic solvents with good viscous dispersion, which play a reduced amount of solvent, significantly improving the system rheology, lower viscosity enhance the system command dry solid or solid cross-linking role of the ultimate strengthThe process of technical additives coating ammonium perchlorate has been studied. Different ratio branch-clawed polyamide and comb-like molecular additives coating ammonium perchlorate has presented the rheological properties, which has been studied. Through the methods of means infrared spectrum (IR) and scanning electric microscopy (SEM), we have known branch-clawed polyamide and comb-like molecular additives have successfully coated ammonium perchlorate. Comparing four different types of rheological curve have indicated that 1.5:1 branch-clawed polyamide can improve the system rheology; comb-like molecular additive can also play a supporting to improve the rheological effect.
