Springback is one of the common pitfalls in sheet metal forming process. To improve the product quality and reduce development cycle of new product, we must be on the rebound predictions and effective control. With the development of automotive industry, the springback problem is becoming more and more difficult, especially for the high-strength steel, which has attracted wide attention. Now how to predict and control springback has become one of the hot topics and difficulties. How to predict and control the springback, The study of springback at home and abroad mainly focuses on the ordinary sheet metal, less on the high-strength steel. Because of the current situation, this article firstly study the characteristics of high-strength steel, then study the springback pattern of the high strength steel using the finite element modeling simulation software DYNAFORM.This paper firstly conclude the characteristics of automotive stampings and forming deformation, introduce the methods and development history of the springback in history. Comparison that finite element numerical simulation for stamping springback forecast is very effective. Then, we focus on the characteristics of high-strength steel and the significance to the car body weight loss it brings. Analysis of the stamping springback simulation on resilience factors simulation accuracy.Using DYNAFORM to class u-forming and resilience are numerical simulation, analysis the key factors of the impact on stamping and resilience:BHF, draw-bead, friction and die clearance. Explores the relationship between the effects:decrease with the increasing of BHF, draw-bead and friction coefficient; increase with the increasing of die clearance. In the final chapter, describes some of the commonly used methods to control the springback, focuses on the mould compensation method, refer to the car hood as a case study, to explore mould compensation method instance analysis and in-depth discussions. Use the method of production out of actual products and design requirements, indicating that the feasibility of the method.
