| Soluble silk fibroin, as a cosmetic material, has many good functions such as heat stability, wet, nutrition and so on. It can be Matched with other materials. The glycin of soluble silk fibroin can absorb some ultraviolet radiations, but its function of sunscreen is not good. Insoluble and ultralfine silk powder not only has good capability of soluble silk powder, but also can scatter a lot of ultraviolet radiations. It has good effect on keeping from the ultraviolet radiations. It has the high nutrition and strong function of sunscreen, so it is a good additive with nutrition and sunscreen in cosmetics.The paper consisted of three parts.In the first chapter, the main property and development of silk fibroin were reviewed, as well as the recent studies on silk fibroin. The purpose and significance in this paper were also summarized.In the second chapter, Insoluble Superfine Silk Protein Powder were produced.First, Fibroin powder was prepared by catalyzed Sulfuric acid. The method, less cost and no pollution, was easy, simple. The calcium sulfate could be used widely. Methanol could be recycled. The best condition of preparing silk powder of 150nm was 1g fibroin dissolved 3ml 98% Sulfuric acid at 100℃, with receive ratios over 95%. It was characterized by SEM, DSC, XRD and so on. The product could be used in cosmetics.Second, sericin powder was prepared by catalyzed sulfate acid. The method, less cost and no pollution, was easy, simple. The calcium sulphate could be used widely. methyl alcohol could be recycled. The best condition of preparing sericin powder of 160nm was 1g sericin dissolved 3ml 98% Sulfuric acid at 100℃, with receive ratios over 92%. It was characterized by SEM, XRD and so on. The product could be used in cosmetics.Third, Introduce sunscreen agent, and add the product in cosmetics.
