Study On The Regulation Effect With Silk Fibroin Powder To The Color Readjustment And Property Improvement Of The Pigment Paste Membrane In Water/Ethanol Solvent

Pigment dyeing is paid more attention due to its short technological process,complete chromatography,and easy application to a variety of fabrics,etc.However,its application property is significantly influenced by poor color fastness,especially when dyeing deep color,so it is limited to dye light color,and poor wearing comfort.In view of the excellent dyeing property of the traditional dyeing in organic solvent,the mixing solvent of water and ethanol is adopted to try improve the pigment dyeing properties in this study,on the other hand,the wearing comfort is improved by adding the silk fibroin powder in the paste which have the good moisture absorption and vapor transmission performance.In the study of the dyeing property improvement of the pigment pad-dyeing fabrics in the ethanol-water mixing system,after determining the best pigment paste and adhesive concentration,the effect of different mixing mass ratio between water and ethanol on the color depth and rubbing fastness of the fabrics was discussed;and the mechanism of the different dyeing results before and after adding the ethanol was analyzed from several aspects,including the particle size in different solvent,the surface tension of the solvent,the pigment crystallinity change,and the surface morphology of the dyeing fabrics,etc.The results showed that the K/S value presented a trend of firstly increasing to the maximum and then decreasing,with the increase of the ethanol ratio.Moreover,the average increasing rate of the modified fabrics,which was around 30%,was generally larger than the original fabrics.One of the reasons for this phenomenon is the surface tension decrease of the dyeing paste after adding the ethanol,which makes the permeability of the paste better;the other reason may be that with the volatilization of the ethanol during the pad-dyeing process,the actual adhesive concentration on the fabric surface was higher than the assumed experiment,which strengthens the cladding ability of the pigment.Besides,the rubbing fastness remained almost unchanged with the increase of the K/S value,and improved 1-2 levels when the K/S value declined.In the study of the dyeing property improvement of the pigment printing fabrics in the ethanol-water mixing system,after determining the best thickener concentration,the effect of different mixing mass ratio between water and ethanol on the color depth and rubbing fastness of the printing fabrics was discussed;and the mechanism of the different dyeing results before and after adding the ethanol was analyzed from several aspects,including the paste viscosity change,the rheological and IR property of the sodium alginates thickener,the crystallinity change of the sodium alginates thickener membrane,and the surface morphology of the dyeing fabrics,etc.The results showed that the K/S value presented a trend of firstly increasing to the maximum and then decreasing,with the increase of the ethanol ratio.Moreover,the average increasing range of the modified fabrics,which was around 20%,was generally larger than the original fabrics.The reasons for this phenomenon is that the addition of the ethanol has changed the pasting property of the thickener,and makes the paste viscosity higher.Besides,the rubbing fastness of the original dyeing fabrics decreased 1-2 levels,while the rubbing fastness of the modified dyeing fabrics remained almost unchanged.In the study of the wear-ability property improvement of the pigment and dyed silk fibroin powder mixing printing fabrics,the effect of different dyeing recipes for the silk fibroin powder on the color depth and rubbing fastness of the mixing printing fabrics was discussed;the air and vapor permeability of the mixing printing fabrics were tested.And the reasons were analyzed from the silk fibroin powder own character and the surface morphology of the mixing printing fabrics.The results showed that the K/S value showed a trend of firstly increasing to the maximum and then decreasing,with the addition of the dyed silk fibroin powder,and especially when the adding ratio exceeded 40%,the K/S value declined significantly.The air permeability property of the mixing printing fabrics firstly improved,but when the powder ratio exceeded a certain value,the air permeability property became worse.Moreover,the vapor permeability property of the modified fabrics showed a trend of becoming a little better.At the same time,the rubbing fastness of the mixing printing fabrics improved,and the increasing range of dry rubbing fastness was bigger than the wet rubbing fastness.The rubbing fastness of pure silk fibroin powder printing fabrics was 2-3 levels higher than the pure pigment printing fabrics,and the darker color of the powder,the more obvious of the rubbing fastness improvement.
