On The Ecological Moral Education For Peasants In The Process Of Urbanization

Urbanization is a necessary process for the construction of socialist harmonious society and achievement of socialist modernization. Historical experience showed that urbanization and industrialization were two important factors about aggravating environmental pollution. In order not to follow historical precedent in the process of urbanization, to promote economic development and environmental protection simultaneously advance, we must strengthen the ecological moral education of peasants, who will become an important force for environmental protection. This article comprehensively uses theories of ethics, ecology, aesthetics and pedagogy. And systematically elaborates peasants' ecological moral status and problems. On this basis, this article proposes the contents and strategies of the peasants'ecological moral education in the process of urbanization.The ecological moral education on the peasants in the process of urbanization is requirement not only to the resolution of global ecological crisis and the achievement of Sustainable Development, but also to the promotion of urbanization and the conversion of traditional peasants to modern citizen. But As a result of a variety of reasons, for example, the lack of basic environmental education, the think of binary opposition between man and nature, the temptation of economic interests, peasants' ecological moral status in the process of urbanization is complicated. There are many problems, including the low level of ecological and moral awareness, little awareness of ecological ethics, eco-ethical misconduct, shallow ecological aesthetic consciousness. To solve these problems, combined with the farmers' economic level, knowledge, physical and mental condition, etc, this article further elaborates the contents of ecological moral education, including the fear of life, nature and man, the fair idea, and new nature value, sustainable consumption concept, the new concept of population, ecological aesthetics. Finally, from the combination of theory and practice, propose the strategies, including the promotion of employment, economic development, popularization of environmental knowledge and regulations, construction of ecological and moral education team, to take a variety of teaching methods, create a good community environment, pay attention to ecological and other moral practice.
