With the frequent occurrence of environmental problems and the depletion of natural resources,people gradually pay more attention on the ecological crisis.The transformation of production modes and the construction of ecological civilization have been widely recognized throughout the world.General Secretary Xi emphasizes that the ecological civilization construction is important for the happiness of the Chinese people and the future of the Chinese nation.Ecological civilization construction is not only a requirement of history,but also a call from reality and future.At the same time,the Implementation Outline of Citizen Moral Construction in the New Era states that green development and ecological ethics are important symbols of modern civilization,the foundation of building a better life,and the expectations of the people.Educating citizens on ecological ethics,improving civic ecological moral literacy,enhancing citizens' awareness of ecological protection,and promoting civic autonomy in environmental protection are both the inherent requirements and the important parts of ecological civilization construction.Basing on the logical relationship between ecological civilization construction and civic ecological moral education,this study explores the effective ways of civic ecological moral education in China.This paper is mainly divided into seven parts.The first part discusses the research background,research significance,research ideas,research methods,innovations,and literature review of this thesis.The second part takes civic ecological moral education as the core,defines related concepts.The third part illuminates the theoretical basis of ecological moral education,which are Marxist ecological outlook,Chinese traditional ecological wisdom,and Chinese Marxist ecological outlook.Then this part explores civic ecological moral education from basic ecological knowledge education,ecological responsibility awareness education,the education of the idea that all living things are equal,moderate consumption concept education and green lifestyle education.The fourth part analyzes the significance of civic ecological moral education to ecological civilization construction from attaching importance to consciousness and creating atmosphere,paying attention to action and regulating behavior.The fifth part expounds the main problems existing in civic ecological moral education of China from the lack of comprehensive understanding of the content of ecological moral education,the obvious difference between urban and rural areas in the effectiveness of ecological moral education,and the ecological moral education stays at "teaching".The reasons for the above problems are analyzed from three aspects: the weak civic learning consciousness,the uneven distribution of educational resources of ecological moral education,and the incomplete evaluation system for ecological moral education.The sixth part discusses the realization methods of civic ecological moral education in China from four aspects: giving full play to the role of civic ecological moral education places,selecting appropriate education methods,establishing a complete evaluation system of ecological moral education,and strengthening the safeguard mechanism of ecological moral education.The seventh part summarizes the full text.
