The Delayed Cooking (DCU) Unit in Shandong Lihuayi Limited has the capacity of disposal as 100Mt/a with loop ratio 0.4. DCU plays a important role in refining atmospheric residue. In order to achieve a deep understanding of DCU and to predict the operation performance of DCU, the reaction section of DCU has been modeled basing on HYSYS and simulation has been done. According to the big temperature difference between furnance branches, the furnance has been modeled using HYSYS. Furnance passes balance control scheme has studied and simulated. The contents of the dissertation include:On the basis of the reaction mechanism and six-lumping kinetic model, a steady HYSYS model was established. Basing on the stady model, the dynamic model was developed. Simulation of steady and dynamic model was done. The influences of outlet temperature of furnance and reaction pressure were analyzed. The model can be used to predict and analyze the performance of DCU to some extent.According to the big temperature difference between furnance branches, the thesis investigated the furnance passes control schemen. Basing on MATLAB, two control schemes had been studied, including differential control scheme total exports temperature scheme. The steady and dynamic HYSYS model of furnance had been developed. Control simulation was done using the HYSYS model. Simulation results show that two control schemes are reasonable. By comparing the two schemes, we can find the two schemes can control furnance passes balance. The differential temperature balance control program will be subject to temperature difference between the multiple parallel passes to the size and number of passes,。While there is no limitations of temperature difference and the number of branches to the differential means of comparing of the total exports temperature which can achieve a balanced temperature control.The simulation results can be used as a reference to the operation of DCU to some extent.
