As the microelectronics and computer technology has become more maturing, computer-aided design in mechanical get a wide range of applications, and to promote the development of numerical control technology in China. China's low cost mold processing and the research and development cause the overseas some mold making to shift gradually to China. In this case, the enterprise to mold management requirements is also getting higher and higher. "Mold Collaborative Design Management System", which is from the mold pursuit of product innovation and the innovation environment of the urgent need for starting for the enterprise. It provides data with product design, materials, technology, testing and other features. And through the operational modalities of sharing data, which directly express design intent, easy to enhance product design, analysis, technical preparation, processing and testing the link between the various departments. Thus form the collaborative work environment, which is face the customer, face design team.This paper first described requirements analysis and designs on "Mold Collaborative Design Management System". To achieve system function, which according to the detailed design of the system based on the MVP (Model–View– Presenter) architecture, making the system with the advantages, is low coupling (separation of view and business layers), testability, high reusability, applicability and so on. Striving to make mold collaborative design management system, developed into a RIA (Rich Internet Application) application, which one based on the MCP architecture. And the system uses the SaaS (Software-as-a-service) Technology so the software is provided in the Web mode. At the end of the paper, it described the future will further optimize the system. If the system need to optimize UI interaction problems, based on MVP, it may be combined on the MVVM framework for the further development based on MVP.Application it, "Mold Collaborative Design Management System", allows enterprises to a higher level product design. Designers are no longer stuck in the horizontal plane of the lines and voxel. But, by the effective use of data about features of product to better solve the optimal design of product. Furthermore, communicate with customer about the intent of product design, and timely feedback. That is to shorten the product development and manufacturing cycles, reduce costs, improve quality and accelerate time to market, acquire the ability to gain a competitive advantage. The system proved to be a successful case in fact.
