Inertia Vibrating Knock-out Machine is mainly used for casting off foundry sand from proplasm after mechanized molding and pouring in the foundry. Its frame is the main part of the vibration. Finite element static analysis and dynamic analysis of the frame were carried on in this paper. The content and outcomes are as follows:(1)A three-dimensional solid model and surface model of Inertia Vibrating Knock-out Machine frame has been established on Pro/E.(2) A finite element model of the frame has been established on HyperMesh .(3) According to Inertia Vibrating Knock-out Machine frame practical work situation, the static analysis was carried on and stress-strain distribution of the frame was gained. We draw conclusions that the stiffness and strength of the frame are sufficient and the structural design of the frame is conservative.(4) Based on modal analysis theory, free modal and restraint modal analysis of the frame were carried on .The natural frequency and the mode vibration of the frame were gained form these two kinds of modal analysis and the weak part of the frame were displayed.(5) Frequency response displacement diagram of curves of the response points has been obtained from frequency response analysis of the frame. The displacement diagram of curves illustrate what frequencies range aroused resonating when the frame is driven outside excitation. Compared the modal analysis result, we can get the resonating frequency under the outside excitation.
