Addition-cured liquid siliocone rubber is an excellent material and has widely applied in architectural, electronis, automobile, aviation and other fields. In this thesis, addition-cured phenyl siliocone rubber was synthesized, and the mechanical properties of the addition-cured liquid silicone rubber also have been discussed.The thesis is composed of four chapters.In the first chapter, the summary was presented.In the second chapter, the silicone intermediate methylphenyldimethoxysilane was synthesized and methyl phenyl cyclic siloxane was asynthesized by the hydrolysis-condensation reaction of methylphenyldimethoxysilane and the factors that affecting yield were discussed.In the third chapter, unvulcanized addition-cured phenyl siliocone rubber was synthesized by the ring-opening polymerization of methyl phenyl cyclic siloxane and D4 and by the bulk polymerization of methyl phenyl cyclic siloxane and methylphenyldimethoxysilane.The phenyl contents of unvulcanized rubber and the optimum conditions were discussed.In the fourth chapter, addition-cured liquid silicone rubbers with low phenyl contents and medium phenyl contents were prepared. The thermal properties were also discussed.In the fifth chapter, The ratio and types of each component was discussed to find out its influence on addition-cured liquid silicone by single factor experiment using vinyl-terminated methyl vinyl silicone oil as unvulcanized rubber.The optimal formula was gotten by orthogonaldesign using vinyl-terminated methyl silicone oil as unvulcanized rubber.
