Synthesis And Characterization Of Addition-cured Liquid Silicone Rubber

Addition liquid silicone rubber because of their excellent thermal oxidation stability,weather resistance and good compatibility with the ammunition,is a good warhead covering material.By optimizing the formulation to further improve the liquid silicone rubber mechanical performance to meet application needs.This paper studies the synthesis of phenyl polysiloxane,obtained through a two-step synthesis of the phenyl ring of silicone.Also studied in concentrated sulfuric acid catalyst,with a high hydrogen content silicone,hexamethyldisiloxane and hexamethyldisiloxane low hydrogen content of the synthesis method of silicone oil,and titration measuring the activity of the synthesized hydrogen silicone oil hydrogen content.In this paper,the use of synthesized different active hydrogen content of hydrogen silicone rubber compound system examines the basis of the type of vinyl silicone oil(straight-chain and branched-chain vinyl silicone oil vinyl silicone oil),vinyl content,hydrogen silicone oil factors containing active hydrogen amount and the amount of silicone oil and the like influence of mechanical properties on the addition type liquid silicone rubber material:(1)tensile strength silicone rubber with the crosslinking density is increased and then decreased presented trends,(2)the tensile strength of silicone rubber with increasing hydrogen content of hydrogen silicone oil showing a trend of first increase and then decrease,and(3)the tensile strength of the silicone rubber silicone oil with added amount of hydrogen showing increasing trend of first increase and then decrease.In this paper,the use of silicone resin and vinyl phenyl vinyl silicone oil on mechanical addition liquid silicone rubber reinforcing effect,formula design study.Optimization of each component by component screening experiment to determine the composition after formulation by orthogonal experimental design to obtain the best ratio.This paper studies the influence of the vinyl MQ resin,silicone rubber mechanical properties and kinematic viscosity,to determine the best dosage, completed the formulation reinforcing agents.
