As a pillar industry to create human wealth, the iron & steel enterprise is a large power consumption and primary entity that emit pollutant. The manufacturing equipment that is the body of the iron & steel enterprises, has a tremendous effect on manufacturing quality of the products, production cost, the consumption of energy and auxiliary material, which is able to produce the noise, bad health and safety and spent liquor. Then, how to evaluate and improve the environment friendly characteristics of equipment is turned into the subject of this article.With the key production line equipment system in iron &steel enterprise as the research object, the key equipment evaluation index system of green degree in iron & steel enterprise is established, modeling and case is analyzed, and system is developed and so on.Firstly, focused on the equipment system of key production line in iron &steel enterprise,the key equipment evaluation index system of green degree in iron &steel enterprise is established respectively from TPCRE (time, performance, cost, resources, and environment), and the meaning of each index is analyzed.Secondly, based on the evaluation index system of green degree, the mathematical model of the key equipment evaluation of green degree in iron & steel enterprise is established, which utilizes the DEA method. In the meanwhile, the equipment system of production line of certain iron & steel enterprise is taken as an example. Then the equipment system is divided into function models, and the data is collected in function models. After disposed, the data is imported into the evaluation DEA model of green degree, which is to calculate green degree of the equipment function models taking the steel-making and casting equipment system for example. The suggestions for improvement are put forward for the equipment of substandard green degree, which is based on the analysis for the equipment index.At last, after ERP system is independent research and development and developed by the team, both MATLAB and C# is used for mixing programming, the green degree evaluation system of key equipment about the steel enterprises is designed and developed. This system can calculate green degree of key equipments and improved value of a greenness degree substandard index. Then the changing graph about key equipments greenness degree evaluation system can be drawn out providing valuable suggestions for equipment green degree management about the steel enterprises.
